Vale Ricky Edwards

I’ve been trying to post this for a while but until now hadn’t the strength. I think it’s time.

Almost two weeks ago we lost my friend Ricky Edwards. Ricky and I worked together on 3 seasons of Mako Mermaids, James Cameron’s Deepsea Challenge 3D, and began working on the upcoming ‘The Bureau of Magical Things’. He was a brilliant man, who burned so brightly with such energy and intensity. Ricky was someone I respected and admired, a man of exceptional talents whom I was often in awe of. I learnt much from him and continue to do so and will be forever grateful to him for asking me to join him in writing for Mako and more. He and I formed a bond that went beyond mere colleagues and I am utterly devastated by his passing. My heart goes out to his beautiful family.
