I’m so proud of this score and honoured to have won Best Music for a Documentary at the 2012 APRA Screen Music Awards!

From the film:

“This tiger is the chosen one. She will be taken from her home and released into unknown territory. She will face a struggle to survive in a world full of uncertainty. Her challenge is to begin a new dynasty of tigers and to help save her species.”

A young tigress, called Baghani, is taken from her home in Ranthambore National Park and released in an unknown territory of Sariska National Park where all 24 tiger were killed by poachers. Baghani along with her mate Rajore have been chosen to start a new dynasty. For two years every aspect of their lives is followed by the camera. The film reveals an intimate and astounding insight into the private lives of these tigers and the animals they encounter in their new home. Will they survive and reclaim Sariska for the tiger?

Tiger Dynasty has won awards worldwide and been selected for screening at film festivals such as Widescreen, Naturvision, Sondrino Film Festial, Berlin Film Festival, Yosemite Film Festival and many more.  See here for the complete list.
